How to Maintain a Balance between Social Life and Studies

We all have come across the proverb “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” This is apparently true when we analyze the lives of successful people. Not even a single person has come off well in life without finding time for leisure. Leisure and hard work must go hand in hand. Now, you might be deeply thinking if that is possible? Yes, it is. Just that an optimum balance between playing and studying need to be kept in mind, although it is too challenging. Are you up for it? Spend a Weekend Day Full of Fun

You have so much to learn because in a highly competitive world, a child cannot be brought up without quality academics. It sucks, sometimes. As these are the years of study and your work at present is to study, you should do that without fail in all weekdays. Study hard from Monday to Saturday. Take a day off from your study schedule on Sunday and have a fun filled day with your family and friends.

Join Clubs in Schools

Extracurricular activities are part of school curriculum. You all have been advised to enroll in any of those activities such as music, dance, theatre, performing art, speech forum, craft sessions etc. This is basically to inculcate your passion and sharpen your skills of creativity. Put in as much efforts as you can, so that those classes are not missed.

Participate in Sports and Games

Every school has a set of sports and games on its list. Attend the Physical Education classes whenever you find one. This would help you socialize with your friends and also boost up your stamina much required for the academics.

Stay away from Distractions

This is not at all an easy task. Television, Social Media, Internet, IPod are all raising their heads whenever you are all set for study. They can be given some space if there is time after your major studies. Else, wait until you get a holiday for a reason that these E-gadgets can sweep you off your feet. Prioritizing them by procrastinating your studies is no way good.

Have a To-do-List

Keep a diary to make a note of the things you should be doing. There are chances that you might forget the stuff you ought to be done. And if forgotten, you would be stressed out way too much and it would adversely affect you in some way. This, in turn, is going to have a strong impact on your social life.

Remember! These tips are useful only if there is 100 percent effort from your side. Lest, no miracle happens.
